Steward's Report

Yoshi was quick to begin.  Go Wild Phil was slow to begin.  Go Wild Phil checked off Bee Sea Douglas soon after the start.  Minimay Miss and Go Wild Phil collided approaching the first turn severely checking Minimay MIss.  Bee Sea Douglas, Thunderhead and Chel's Bandit collided on the first turn checking Thunderhead.  Bee Sea Douglas checked off Chel's Bandit approaching the home turn.  El Vettel checked off Chel's Bandit on the home turn checking Go Wild Phil and El Vettel, both greyhounds stumbled as a result.  Thunderhead checked off Bee Sea Douglas on the home turn severely checking Thunderhead. Bee Sea Douglas cramped approaching the winning post.

Bee Sea Douglas was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right front couplings and severe cramp, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K Quinn, the handler of the greyhound Bee Sea Douglas.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
