Cooly Queen was quick to begin.  Glenwynne and Derby Lee were slow to begin.  Santa Muerte and Dreaming Annie collided approaching the first turn checking Dreaming Annie and Reeshar Lee.  Yap Yap Galo checked off Cooly Queen on the first turn.  Reeshar Lee and Cooly Queen collided approaching the home turn.  Puppet and Derby Lee raced wide in the home straight.

Transparent was quick to begin.  Master Boots and Some Nights were slow to begin.  Peke and Ashanti Bear collided soon after the start. Peke and Master Boots collided approaching the first turn.  Peke, Some Nights and Ashanti Bear collided on the first turn checking Some Nights and Ashanti Bear.  Some Nights and Peke collided approaching the home turn.

My Selynya was quick to begin.  Lace Out and Zippy Zara were slow to begin.  Sharlous Dream and Elegant Chick collided approaching the first turn checking Sharlous Dream.  Bomber Pride, Sharlous Dream and Bromesti Flyer collided on the first turn checking Lace Out, Zippy Zara, Bromesti Flyer, Sharlous Dream and Prince Valiant.  Bomber Pride and Zippy Zara collided in the home straight checking Bomber Pride.

Sheoak Claude was slow to begin.  Tanroddy Trina crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Sheoak Claude.  Elite Digger, Bowstreet Runner, Regal Phantom and Arogon Lad collided soon after the start checking Regal Phantom, Bowstreet Buster and Arogon Lad.  Sheoak Claude, Arogon Lad and Tanroddy Trina collided approaching the first turn checking Arogon Lad and Tanroddy Trina.  Elite Digger and Molly Jade collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Sheoak Claude, Bowstreet Buster, Regal Phantom and Elite Digger collided approaching the home turn severely checking Elite Digger and Sheoak Claude, causing Bowstreet Buster to fall as a result.  Sheoak Claude and Arogon Lad collided several times on the home turn.  Sheoak Claude eased entering the home straight.  Sheoak Claude eased in the home straight and collided several times with Arogon Lad, severely checking both greyhounds.

Sheoak Claude was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind foot, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Bowstreet Buster was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left coupling muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G Showler, the handler of the greyhound Sheoak Claude.  Stewards deemed the performance of Sheoak Claude unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Sheoak Claude must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Snake Charmer and Perfect Meg were slow to begin.  Bolt Baby Bolt, Slick Silvie and Jet Star Lad collided soon after the start checking Jet Star Lad.  Snack Charmer checked off Greysynd Rock approaching the first turn.  Slick Silvie and Perfect Meg collided approaching the home turn.  Snake Charmer and Doc Berkshire collided entering the home straight.  Bolt Baby Bolt and Doc Berkshire collided in the home straight.

Kooper Buff was slow to begin.  Lassurge, Homecoming Queen, Absolute Champ and Miss Geddes collided soon after the start.  Kooper Buff and Homecoming Queen collided on the second turn.

Stewards issued a warning to Ms S. Quinlan of Rushworth regarding her failure to catch the greyhound Kooper Buff.

Campaspe Tina was slow to begin.  Sixteen Candles crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Dalmatian Ally, Burra Blue and Kellie Enlim.  Space Power crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Campaspe Tina.  Kellie Enlim and Campaspe Tina collided on the second turn checking Kellie Enlim.  Space Power checked off Sixteen Candles in the home straight.

Mighty Classy was slow to begin.  Common Tells, Tim Tam Tim and Token Ali collided soon after the start checking Tim Tam Tim.  Common Tells and Token Ali collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Common Tells checked off Mighty Classy approaching the home turn and stumbled as a result.  Kacey Enlim and Chimney Sweep collided several times in the home straight.

Mr. Zed, Maybe Mick and Baltic Typhoon were slow to begin.  Mr. Zed and Sunraysia Phil collided soon after the start checking Mr. Zed.  Carry On Steve, Flash Are, Extra Classy and Sunraysia Phil collided on the first turn checking Flash Are, Extra Classy and Mr. Zed.  Sunraysia Phil and Maybe Mick collided approaching the home turn checking Maybe Mick.  Carry On Steve and Sunraysia Phil collided on the home turn.   Sunraysia Phil checked off Carry On Steve in the home straight.

Stewards issued a warning to the trainer of Sunraysia Phil, L. Bridges (Brown Hill)regarding his failure to engage a catcher.

Why Not Maggie was quick to begin.  Heroica was slow to begin.  Soho Legend, Arolok Cuddles and Dylis Bale collided soon after the start checking Dylis Bale.  Smashing Century and Arolok Cuddles collided on the first turn checking Smashing Century which contacted the running rail as a result.  Smashing Century checked off Dylis Bale on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Michelle Enlim checked off Why Not Maggie in the home straight.

Dylis Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a broken metatarsal on the left hind foot, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Smashing Century was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Yoshi was quick to begin.  Go Wild Phil was slow to begin.  Go Wild Phil checked off Bee Sea Douglas soon after the start.  Minimay Miss and Go Wild Phil collided approaching the first turn severely checking Minimay MIss.  Bee Sea Douglas, Thunderhead and Chel's Bandit collided on the first turn checking Thunderhead.  Bee Sea Douglas checked off Chel's Bandit approaching the home turn.  El Vettel checked off Chel's Bandit on the home turn checking Go Wild Phil and El Vettel, both greyhounds stumbled as a result.  Thunderhead checked off Bee Sea Douglas on the home turn severely checking Thunderhead. Bee Sea Douglas cramped approaching the winning post.

Bee Sea Douglas was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right front couplings and severe cramp, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K Quinn, the handler of the greyhound Bee Sea Douglas.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
