Steward's Report
All greyhounds in this event were subject to out of competition urine sampling in the week following the Cup heats.
Northern Nangar was slow to begin. Northern Nangar galloped on Tiempo Dinero on the first turn checking Northern Nangar. Shadale clipped the heels of Northern Nangar on the first turn causing Northern Nangar to fall. Kouta Mayhem and Aston Miley collided approaching the home turn checking Aston Miley. Black Mumbo and Kouta Mayhem collided on the home turn.
Northern Nangar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left stopper, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A blood and urine sample was taken from Aston Dee Bee - winner, Jimmy Newob - second placegetter and Kouta Mayhem - third placegetter.
