Steward's Report
Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry regarding the circumstances of the late scratching of Xevra Allen.
Xevra Allen was a late scratching at 4:15pm due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Gracioso was quick to begin. Badelaide Road was slow to begin. No Recourse, Miss Heart and Kraken Jane Babe collided soon after the start checking Miss Heart. No Recourse galloped on the heels of Milly's Coconut approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Badelaide Road and No Recourse collided on the home turn.
