Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Kevin Lingard, the trainer of Grooven Chris regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Grooven Chris last raced on 5th of January, 2018 and is returning to racing after an extended spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from Tashendo.
Tashendo and Petite Senorita were quick to begin. Lochinvar Rox and Grooven Chris collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Lochinvar Rox. Petite Senorita galloped on the heels of Tashendo approaching the first turn checking Petite Senorita and Son Of Steve.
Meeting Comments:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. Martin Hanke, the trainer of Hoo Gur Affair regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Hoo Gur Affair last raced on 3 December, 2017. Mr. Hanke stated that the greyhound was returning from an injury and declared a new weight of 29.3kg. .Pursuant to GAR 77A, Hoo Gur Affair trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 29.3kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.25, the greyhound won by a margin of 4.75 lengths. Hoo Gur Affair was Cleared.
