Miss Glenngarry was a late scratching at 15:22 on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Scott Confused, Rumbling Home and Proven Regis were quick to begin.

Janray Dynamite and Further Dreamer collided soon after the start. Rumbling Home Proven Regis collided on the first turn checking Proven Regis. Spring It checked off Proven Regis on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Janray Dynamite raced wide on the home turn.

Janray Dynamite was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Tat Choice and Janray Wild One were slow to begin.

Sweet Ambush and Ko Mai Si collided soon after the start. Maxi Fozz checked off Shirdale Casey approaching the first. Sweet Ambush and Janray Wild One raced wide on the home turn.

Janray Wild One was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. R. Matthews, the trainer of Janray Wild One regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr R.Matthews, the trainer of Urzael Harbinger regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Urzael Harbinger last raced on 16 March, 2018. Mr Matthews stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a extended spell.

Go Go Dancer and Burrawonga Girl were slow to begin.

Urzael Harbinger was very slow to begin (3L).

Bobby Ray, Tat Nuggie and Scott Hooked collided soon after the start checking Tat Nuggie. Tat Nuggie and Howie's Soxx collided approaching the first turn. Go Go Dancer and Burrawonga Girl collided approaching the first turn. Tat Nuggie, Urzael Harbinger and Burrawonga Girl raced wide on the home turn. Baby Max Fozz checked off Bobby Ray on the home turn checking Go Go Dancer. Baby Max Fozz and Go Go Dancer collided on the home turn. Howie's Soxx contacted the running rail on the home turn. Urzael Harbinger tailed off.

Howie's Soxx was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Matthews, the trainer of the greyhound Urzael Harbinger regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Urzael Harbinger was vetted and re-vetted following event 7.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triangle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Urzael Harbinger with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Matthews pleaded guilty to the charge, Urzael Harbinger was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr S.Smith, the handler of La Bella Riot regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. La Bella Riot last raced on 15 February, 2018. Mr Smith stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a left shoulder and left hock injury.

Dashing Weetbix was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left foot and an abrasion to the nose. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Love Laughing was a late scratching at 14:31 due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. M. Strahan was fined the sum of $100.

Bellachino, Stylish Bree and Sunlit Breaker were quick to begin. Our China Plate was slow to begin. Eight Bells Toll and Nitro Nicole collided on the first turn. Stylish Bree and Sunlit Baker collided on the first turn checking Sunlit Baker. Eight Bells Toll and Nitro Nicole collided on the home turn. Eight Bells Toll checked off Nitro Nicole on the home turn.

Trial One:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Chill Out Indy trialled over the 450mt from box 1, weight 30.1kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.81, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.5L. Chill Out Indy was cleared. 

Trial Two:

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Duncan, the trainer of All In Chumlee regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. All Inn Chumlee last raced on 28th August 2018. Mr. Duncan stated that the greyhound was resuming racing from an extended spell. Pursuant to GAR 77A All Inn Chumlee trialled over the 390mt from box 1, weight 31.0kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 21.96, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 16.25L. All Inn Chumlee was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Magic Shianne trialled over the 390mt from box 2, weight 26.4kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 21.96, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.75L. Magic Shianne was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Faye's Not Fazed trialled over the 390mt from box 3, weight 26.8kg, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 21.96, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 24.75L. Faye's Not Fazed was not cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. V. Mileto, the trainer of My Names Chelsea regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. My Names Chelsea last raced on 15th November 2018. Mr. Mileto stated that the greyhound was resuming racing from a change of kennel. Pursuant to GAR 77A My Names Chelsea trialled over the 390mt from box 6, weight 29.7kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 21.96, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3L. My Names Chelsea was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Base Camp trialled over the 390mt from box 8, weight 37.9kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 21.96, the greyhound won by a margin of 3L. Base Camp was cleared.
