Steward's Report
Stewards questioned trainer, Mr. T. Erenshaw regarding the nomination of the greyhound Flying Camo which was scratched from this event due to a calf injury. A 10 day standown period was imposed. Stewards requested that Mr. Erenshaw present Flying Camo at The Meadows meeting on Saturday 30th June 2018 for a veterinary examination (GAR23(3).
Flying Camo was vetted at The Meadows on 30th June 2018 and it was confirmed the greyhound was suffering from a left calf injury. Mr Erenshaw's explanation was accepted and no further action was taken.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dyna Dean.
Dyna Chill was quick to begin. Verne Allen checked off Flying Danger approaching the home turn.
