Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Dailly, the representative of the greyhound Dyna Elliot regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1), Stewards charged Dyna Elliot with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge.  Dyna Elliot was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cooper Dan was quick to begin.  Frankie Moss and Buster Norris were slow to begin.  Frankie Moss contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Shakey Coconut and Knocker's Gold collided approaching the home turn checking Knocker's Gold.  Speedy Spyro checked off Knocker's Gold approaching the home turn.  Dyna Artist and Cooper Dan collided several times in the home straight checking Cooper Dan.

Dailly, the representative of the greyhound Speedy Spyro.  Stewards deemed the performance of Speedy Spyro unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Speedy Spyro must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Keely Run and Merc were quick to begin and collided soon after the start.  Flying Sam and Uni Allen collided approaching the first turn checking Flying Sam.  Shannah's Gift checked off Speedy Scar approaching the home turn.  Keely Run and Winston Cruise collided approaching the home turn.  Uni Allen and Shannah's Gift collided in the home straight.  Winston Cruise and Speedy Scar collided in the home straight.

Stewards questioned trainer, Mr. T. Erenshaw regarding the nomination of the greyhound Flying Camo which was scratched from this event due to a calf injury. A 10 day standown period was imposed.  Stewards requested that Mr. Erenshaw present Flying Camo at The Meadows meeting on Saturday 30th June 2018 for a veterinary examination (GAR23(3).

Flying Camo was vetted at The Meadows on 30th June 2018 and it was confirmed  the greyhound was suffering from a left calf injury. Mr Erenshaw's explanation was accepted and no further action was taken.

Gotta Bandit and Blackpool Shaz were slow to begin.  Boona Lad crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Rockin' Roz.  Warrion Warrior and Tahleia Brae collided on the first turn checking Tahleia Brae.  Gotta Bandit, Boona Lad and Tristan Cannon collided approaching the home turn checking Gotta Bandit and severely checking Boona Lad; Blackpool Shaz was checked off Boona Lad as a result.  Rockin' Roz checked off Tahleia Brae in the home straight.

Boona Lad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to its left hind leg.  No stand down period was imposed.

Cash Chewing, Raweenie and Newtown Angel collided approaching the first turn checking Raweenie and Newtown Angel.  Gracioso checked off Bomber's Baby on the first turn.  Bomber's Baby, Zharnel, Raweenie and Newtown Angel collided approaching the home turn checking Zharnel.  Zharnel raced wide on the home turn.  Cash Chewing and Raweenie collided approaching the winning post.

Winlock Dyno and Leeroy Rox collided soon after the start.  Dyna Xervo and Winlock Dyna collided on the first turn checking Dyna Xervo.  Winlock Dyno checked off Leeroy Rox on the home turn.  On The Bonnet and Bomber's Return collided several times in the home straight.
