Steward's Report
White Cynder was quick to begin. Dyna Elliot and Unique Quality were slow to begin. Twist Allen and Selfless collided soon after the start. Dyna Elliot and Valar Morghulis collided approaching the first turn checking Valar Morghulis. Dyna Elliot and Magic Kenz collided on the first turn. Dyna Elliot galloped on the heels of White Cynder approaching the home turn. Dyna Elliot failed to pursue the lure with due commitment on the home turn and collided with White Cynder as a result. Dyna Elliot and Magic Kenz collided in the home straight.
Dyna Elliot was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Dailly, the representative of the greyhound Dyna Elliot regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1), Stewards charged Dyna Elliot with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge. Dyna Elliot was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
