Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms Pia Triaca, the trainer of Crackerjack Roy, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Crackerjack Roy last raced on 7 February 2018. Ms Triaca stated that the greyhound was resuming from a left front stopper injury. Ms Triiaca also declared a new weight of 35.6 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Crackerjack Roy last raced at 37.1 kgs.
Bear Left and Scarecrow Tiger were slow to begin. Lonesome Spring and Jack's On Deck collided soon after the start, checking Jack's On Deck. Jack's On Deck, Crackerjack Roy, Scorching Lucy and Scarecrow Tiger collided approaching the first turn, checking Crackerjack Roy, and severely checking Fast Freddie. Lonesome Spring and Fast Freddie raced wide in the home straight.
