Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Shockwave, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Fierce Lomar was slow to begin. Shockwave and My Alibi collided soon after the start. Noaki Colour and Poppy Pete collided soon after the start, checking Poppy Pete and Zipping Hawk. Miss Darlo and Shockwave collided approaching the first turn, checking Miss Darlo. Miss Darlo and My Alibi collided on the first turn, checking My Alibi and Fierce Lomar; causing Fierce Lomar to race wide as a result. Zipping Hawk and Poppy Pete collided entering the back straight, checking Zipping Hawk and Fierce Lomar. Zipping Hawk checked off Poppy Pete on the third turn.
Fierce Lomar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left fore foot and a left foreleg sesamoid injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
