Swift Chief went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Spritely Star was slow to begin.  Daisy Me Diggin', Wild Vane, Drama Rama and Shirdale Casey collided soon after the start.  Daisy Me Diggin' and Shirdale Casey collided several times from the 250m mark until the 200m mark.  Daisy Me Diggin and Wild Vane collided at the 150m mark.

Millie's Angel, Ko Mai Si and Smart Bella were slow to begin.  Millie's Angel and Smart Bella collided approaching the 300m mark and again at the 250m mark.  Attack Plan and Chief Siyan collided several times from the 250m mark until the 200m mark, checking both greyhounds.  Millie's Angel and Smart Bella collided at the 200m mark, checking both greyhounds.  Fish Armo checked off Golden Jet at the 200m mark.  Smart Bella and Fish Armo collided at the 150m mark.  Attack Plan checked off Chief Siyan approaching the 50m mark.

Millie's Angel was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following race 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right biceps, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Chief Siyan was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Garry Harding,trainer of Proud Phoenix declared a new weight of 30.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).Proud Phoenix last raced at 29.6kg.

Dapper Diesel and Mickie Raven were slow to begin.  Dorothy Dawn crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Trouble Brewing and Proud Phoenix collided soon after the start.  Cersei and Hard Boiled collided at the 300m mark.  Trouble Brewing checked off Proud Phoenix at the 250m mark.  Trouble Brewing and Dapper Diesel collided at the 200m mark.  Superior Joyce and Hard Boiled collided at the 150m mark.  Trouble Brewing and Mickie Raven collided at the 150m mark.  Trouble Brewing faltered at the 100m mark and tailed off.

Stewards spoke to S Melville, the trainer of the greyhound Trouble Brewing regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 100m mark.  Trouble Brewing was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle and an injured right pencil muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Trouble Brewing with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  S Melville pleaded guilty to the charge, Trouble Brewing was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shelbourne Star and Shelbourne Flyer were slow to begin.  Miss Luna Girl stumbled soon after the start and lost ground as a result.  Shelbourne Flyer crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Shelbourne Star and Lost Horizon collided approaching the 150m mark.  Shelbourne Star, Lost Horizon and Red Queen collided at the 150m mark.  Lost Horizon checked off Shelbourne Star at the 100m mark.  Lost Horizon and Red Queen collided approaching the 50m mark.

Miss Luna Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Undetectable and Bushiri were slow to begin.  Unexplainable and Undetectable collided at the 250m mark.  Vitaliser and Unexplainable collided at the 150m mark and again at the 100m mark.  Bushiri and Zipping Amber collided at the 100m mark.  Awesome Shep and Leica Cali King collided at the 100m mark.  Bushiri and Awesome Shep collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Daryl Weightman, the trainer of Spring Saviour regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Spring Saviour last raced on 17th March 2018.  Mr Weightman stated that Spring Saviour sufered from a front left hock injury

Cut Snake was slow to begin.  Mallard and Mon Mekki Khan collided soon after the start.  Inter Elesha and Blue Magnum collided soon after the start.  Inter Elesha, Lilty Allen, Spring Saviour and Fancy Hope collided at the 300m mark.  Fancy Hope and Blue Magnum collided several times from the 250m mark until the 200m mark, checking Fancy Hope.  Spring Saviour and Cut Snake collided at the 200m mark.  Mon Mekki Khan checked off Cut Snake at the 200m mark.  Lilty Allen checked off Mon Mekki Kahn at the 150m mark.  Lilty Allen and Mon Mekki Khan collided at the 100m mark and again at the 50m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr R Edwards, the trainer of Taree's Ruslie regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Taree's Ruslie last raced on 18th March 2018. Mr Edwards stated that Taree's Ruslie suffered an injury to the right back muscle.

Tubark and Bourbon An Kahn collided soon after the start.  Xan Mai, Tubark and Bourbon An Kahn collided several times from the 250m mark until the 200m mark.  Tubark and Bourbon An Kahn collided several times from the 200m mark until the 150m mark.  Tarree's Ruslie and Xan Mai collided several times from the 50m mark until the winning post.

Mr B Marshall, trainer of Stacey Keeping declared a new weight of 30.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Stacey Keeping last raced at 29.2kg.

Love Laughing and Miss Legality collided soon after the start.  Valdar Bale and Stacey Keeping collided at the 200m mark.  Mepunga Dasha and All You Got collided at the 200m mark.  Mepunga Dasha, Stacey Keeping and All You Got collided at the 150m mark.  Mepunga Dasha and Love Laughing collided several times from the 50m mark until the winning post.

Cosmic Nosey and Von Costa Kahn were slow to begin.  Big Gee Tee crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark and collided with Fiery Nell.  Meehan Rosie checked off Samba Law approaching the 200m mark.  Superior Martini and Meehan Rosie collided at the 150m mark.  Mickey Rawson raced wide throughout the event.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Like A Fancy trialled over the 300m from box 1, weight 27.7kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 17.06, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5 1/4 lengths. Like A Fancy was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Miss Bali trialled over the 300m from box 300m, weight 25.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 17.06, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 20 lengths. Miss Bali was not cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to J Condon, the trainer of Boy Of Pizazz regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Boy Of Pizazz last raced on 6 December 2017. J Condon stated that the greyhound was returning from an injured hind left hind metacarpal.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Boy Of Pizazz trialled over the 300m from box 3, weight 36.9kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 17.06, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7 3/4 lengths. Boy Of Pizazz was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to E Dollery, the trainer of Bruree Girl regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Bruree Girl last raced on 15 December 2017. E Dollery stated that the greyhound was returning from being on season.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Bruree Girl trialled over the 300m from box 6, weight 26.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 17.06, the greyhound won by a margin of 5 1/4 lengths. Bruree Girl was cleared.
