This event was delayed by approximately one minute, due to holding for a Gatton thoroughbred race which was running behind schedule.
Tashendo and Wanna Allen were quick to begin. All Inn Misshap, My Real Deal and Savannah Icon collided soon after the start, checking Savannah Icon. My Real Deal, Controller and Foxy Molly collided approaching the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Tashendo and All Inn Misshap collided on the home turn. All Inn Misshap and My Real Deal raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.
