Steward's Report

Stewards spoke to Mr Shaun Coulson, the kennel representative of Go Marsha Go, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Go Marsha Go last raced on 18 February, 2018.  Mr Coulson stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.

A pre-race sample was taken from Go Marsha Go.

Dum Didee Dum and Go Marsha Go collided soon after the start, checking Dum Didee Dum.  Go Marsha Go clipped the heels of Quick Collision approaching the first turn, checking Dum Didee Dum and Quick Collision; Go Marsha Go stumbled as a result.  Scott Lucky galloped on Lara's Double on the first turn.  Quick Collision and Lara's Double collided on the home turn.  Mako Icon and Kokoda Bobby collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Meeting Comments:

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Richard Anchen, the trainer of Cullquin Ghengis, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Cullquin Ghengis last raced on 11 December 2017.  Mr Anchen stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennel.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Cullquin Ghengis trialled over the 390m from box one, weight 31.0 kgs, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four.  The time of the trial was 22:94, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.25 lengths.  Cullquin Ghengis was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Vincent Mileto, the trainer of Anton Flash, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Anton Flash last raced on 11 September 2017.  Mr Mileto stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a a spell.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Anton Flash trialled over the 390m from box three, weight 32.4 kgs, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four.  The time of the trial was 22:94, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.25 lengths.  Anton Flash was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Plenty Of It trialled over the 390m from box six, weight 24.5 kgs, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four.  The time of the trial was 22:94, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.5 lengths.  Plenty Of It was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Erawan trialled over the 390m from box eight, weight 31.2 kgs, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four.  The time of the trial was 22:94, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.5 lengths.  Erawan was Not Cleared.
