Steward's Report
Destini Baby was a late scratching at 2:47 pm, due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Ian Robinson was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Good Luck Mick.
Good Luck Mick was slow to begin. Swift Ruby crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Argyle Lucifer, All Inn Houston, Good Luck Mick and Honestly Bob. Good Luck Mick and All Inn Houston collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds.
Meeting Comments:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Robert Taylor, the trainer of Farhar regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Farhar last raced on 17 October 2017. Mr Taylor stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennels and the removal of a back left toe. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Farhar trialled over the 410m from box one, weight 26.3 kgs, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23:68, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9.5 lengths. Farhar was Cleared.
