Billy Moran and Swell It Is were slow to begin. Ark Lightning and Billy Moran collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Ark Lightning which tailed off. Swiftly Swift and Discovered collided on the first turn, checking Discovered, County Carlow and Billy Moran, and severely checking Swell It Is which fell.
Ark Lightning was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left foreleg monkey muscle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Swell It Is was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
