Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Galloping Flash earlier today during a kennel visit by stewards.
Cairnlea Rosie was quick to begin. Psychedelic Jay was slow to begin.
Jobes Return checked off Miss Sweet Pea approaching the first turn. Jobes Return clipped the heels of Scooby Scooby Do on the first turn. Miss Sweet Pea checked off Lady Bullseye on the first turn, checking Galloping Flash. Scooby Scooby Do galloped on Miss Sweet Pea approaching the second turn, checking Miss Sweet Pea, Scooby Scooby Do, Psychedelic Jay and Jobes Return. Scooby Scooby Do checked off Jobes Return on the third turn. Cairnlea Rosie and Sisco Dun collided approaching the home turn. Sisco Dun and Lady Bullseye collided on the home turn. Cairnlea Rosie eased on the home turn. Sisco Dun and Lady Bullseye collided entering the home straight. Cairnlea Rosie eased in the home straight. Psychedelic Jay checked off Sisco Dun in the home straight. Galloping Flash and Lady Bullseye raced wide and collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr A Xerri, the representative of the greyhound Cairnlea Rosie regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Cairnlea Rosie was vetted and re-vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Cairnlea Rosie with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Xerri pleaded guilty to the charge, Cairnlea Rosie was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
