Terrah Fire and Conjurer were slow to begin.  Placid Pause, Elphaba Oz and Evie Willow collided soon after the start.  Terrah Fire and Elphaba Oz collided on the first turn checking Evie Willow which fell severely checking Conjurer as a result.  Terrah Fire and Placid Pause collided entering the back straight checking Terrah Fire.  Placid Pause raced wide on the second turn checking Terrah Lecki and Terrah Fire.  Terrah Lecki and Conjurer collided on the home turn.

Dr. Noely and Modern Jagger were slow to begin.  Misty's Boy, Little Freck, Mister Walker, Mt. View Gift and Jamie Marie collided on the first turn checking Little Freck and severely checking Mister Walker, Mt. View Gift, Dr. Noely and Modern Jagger.  Little Freck and Jamie Marie collided in the back straight.  Misty's Boy and We Love Spolly collided on the second turn.  Jamie Marie galloped on Little Freck in the home straight checking Little Freck.

Triceps Brachii was quick to begin.  Straitline Willy and Goodbye Goldie were slow to begin.  Ballistic Gem and Final Chimes collided soon after the start.  Bags Of Bucks and Ballistic Gem collided approaching the second turn.  Goodbye Goldie checked off Bags of Bucks approaching the second turn.  Triceps Brachii raced wide approaching the second turn.  Darcon Flash and Ballistic Gem raced wide on the second turn.  Final Chimes and Goodbye Goldie collided on the second turn and again entering the back straight checking Final Chimes.  Darcon Flash raced wide in the back straight and again entering the home straight.

Dr. Watson and Holyfield were slow to begin.  Summer Kate, My Miss Molly, Artistic Alyssa, Spazzy Blue and Dr. Diamontie collided on the first turn severely checking Summer Kate.  Artistic Alyssa and Spazzy Blue collided entering the back straight.  Dr. Watson and Dr. Diamontie collided in the back straight.  Dr. Watson checked off Spazzy Blue on the second turn checking All About Arby.  Summer Kate checked off My Miss Molly approaching the home turn.

Magic Maya was slow to begin.  Fifty Dollar and Trademark Rocky collided soon after the start checking Trademark Rocky.  Trademark Rocky and Magic Maya collided soon after the start.  Fifty Dollar checked off Milly's Choice soon after the start.  Zoobie, Fabulous Gee, Fifty Dollar and Jacey Allen collided on the first turn checking Fabulous Gee, Fifty Dollar and Magic Maya.  Zoobie checked off Jacey Allen approaching the second turn checking Fabulous Gee, Fifty Dollar and Magic Maya; Fabulous Gee lost ground as a result.  Zoobie checked off Fifty Dollar on the second turn.  Zoobie and Magic Maya collided on the third turn checking Magic Maya and Fabulous Gee.  Zoobie, Milly's Choice and Fifty Dollar collided on the home turn.

Oakmont Whisper and Tiger Dusty were slow to begin.  Rattle Gate and Toffee Lady collided soon after the start.  Toffee Lady contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Tub's Tiger raced wide on the second turn checking Tiger Dusty.

Tub's Tiger was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the right hind, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Royal Order, Surgical Wally and Miller's Court collided on the first turn checking Miller's Court, Royal Order and Mega Hazel; Royal Order lost ground as a result.

Doran's Call was quick to begin.  Scooby Boy was slow to begin.  Iggy Wiggy, Slick Diamond, Speedway Lass and Lektra Miss collided approaching the first turn checking Slick Diamond and severely checking Iggy Wiggy.  Lektra Miss raced wide on the first turn checking Just Blacky.  Just Blacky clipped the heels of Lektra Miss entering the home straight.

Kiowa Jones was a late scratching at 11.10am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Chase On Case was quick to begin.  Sir Fancy was slow to begin.  Galloping Ashley and Bandit Brad collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Zipping Faith and Zipping Pedro collided on the home turn.

Satisfactory Trial Results -  Hurricane Brad trialled over the 315m from box 3, weight 31.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of 5.  The time of the trial was 18:16, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 20 lengths. Hurricane Brad was Not Cleared, this was the greyhound's third successive failed attempt at a Satisfactory Trial,  Pursuant to GRV Rule 38.1(f)  Hurricane Brad is ineligible to undergo a further Satisfactory Trial for 28 days from today.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Mia Maestro trialled over the 315m from box 8, weight 24.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 5.  The time of the trial was 18:16, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9.75 lengths.  Mia Maestro was Cleared all tracks except Healesville.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Owlette trialled over the 315m from box 1, weight 27.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5.  The time of the trial was 18:16, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.50 lengths.  Owlette was Cleared all tracks except Sandown.

Satisfactory Trial Result (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. Michael Lont, the trainer of Magic Ambush regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Magic Ambush last raced on 20th October, 2017.  Mr. Lont stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a left front tendon injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Magic Ambush trialled over the 315m from box 5, weight 31.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5.  The time of the trial was 18:16, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.75 lengths.  Magic Ambush was Cleared.
