Groundsman Mr R Phillips advised Stewards that the track was deeply harrowed on Friday 4th May 2018.
Blackwater Girl and Queen Of Meereen were quick to begin.
Piper's Unicorn and Go Natalie Go collided soon after the start, checking Piper's Unicorn. Hammer Red and My Rag Doll collided on the first turn, checking Hammer Red. My Rag Doll galloped on the heels of Go Natalie Go approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Hammer Red, My Rag Doll and Piper's Unicorn collided on the home turn, checking My Rag Doll and Piper's Unicorn.
Piper's Unicorn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hock. A three-day stand down period was imposed.
