Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Frank Tasca, the trainer of Wishing Angel, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Wishing Angel last raced on 18 December 2017. Mr Tasca stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an extended spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from Wolf Point.
Wishing Angel and Riverdale Paddy were quick to begin.
Banjo Moment, Cawbourne Mav, Crackerjack Dave and Fancy Talon collided soon after the start, checking Fancy Talon and Crackerjack Dave. Banjo Moment checked off Ben's Talon approaching the first turn, checking Fancy Talon. Banjo Moment and Fancy Talon collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight, checking both greyhounds.
