Stevie Gee was slow to begin. Johnny Dunbar and Communique collided approaching the first turn checking Communique. Arachnophobia and Stevie Gee collided on the first turn checking Arachnophobia. Arachnophobia checked off Johnny Dunbar approaching the home turn. Johnny Dunbar crossed to the outside approaching the home turn causing Communique to race wide.
