A pre-race sample was taken from Possibly upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre race sample was taken from All Jokes Aside.
Double Explosion and Onya Teddy were slow to begin. Possibly and Noosa Jet collided soon after the start, checking Possibly. All Jokes Aside and Ving Bale collided soon after the start. Ving Bale and Secret Message collided approaching the first turn. Noosa Jet and Secret Message collided on the first turn.
Ving Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right and left monkey muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
