An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Give Me Wings engaged in this event on 22 May 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dewana Express.
Yuko was quick to begin.
Who's Got Class and Shima Bar collided on the first turn. Tom Riddle and Fleur Delacour collided on the first turn. Yuko and Sure To Excite collided approaching the second turn checking Who's Got Class. Give Me Wings checked off Shima Bar approaching the third turn. Sure To Excite and Dewana Express collided approaching the home turn checking Sure To Excite which lost ground.
Sure To Excite was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right deltoid soreness, left and right saddle soreness and a left elbow injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Shima Bar - winner of the event.
