Orson Allen checked off Werner Bale soon after the start. Reign Of Omar crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Dyna Drew. Sable Sass and Loch Monster collided on the first turn checking Orson Allen and causing Werner Bale to gallop on Orson Allen severely checking Werner Bale which lost ground. Reign Of Omar, Dyna Carmen and Reign Of Omar collided on the third turn checking Dyna Carmen.
