Varuchi Pass and Uno Fabio were slow to begin. Varuchi Pass and Rollin' With It collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Azkaban, Wise Piquet and Dyna Zad collided on the first turn, checking Azkaban, Dyna Zad and Uno Fabio. Varuchi Pass, Uno Fabio and Dyna Zad collided entering the front straight, checking all three greyhounds. Wise Piquet galloped on Rellim Diesel entering the front straight. Rollin' With It contacted the running rail on the second turn. Dyna Zad and Uno Fabio collided on the second turn. Uno Fabio galloped on the heels of Rollin' With It on the fourth turn, checking Rollin' With It. Alezan and Azkaban collided on the home turn. Azkaban and Wise Piquet collided approaching the winning post.
Rollin' With It was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg triangle injury, a five day stand down period was imposed.
