Chisler and Gelert collided approaching the first turn checking Crymelon Phantom. Kiewa River Run checked off Winlock Slim on the first turn causing Winlock Slim to fall and severely checking Kiewa River Run. Chiseller raced wide on the first turn to avoid the fallen greyhound. Gelert checked on the first turn to avoid the fallen greyhound.
Kiewa River Run was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Winlock Slim was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed
