Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Payne, the trainer of Cosmic Fantasy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Cosmic Fantasy last raced on 5th February 2018. Mr. Payne stated that the greyound was resuming racing from a cracked right hock. Mr. Payne also declared a new weight of 29.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Cosmic Fantasy last raced at 30.3kg.
Sunday Driving was slow to begin.
Aqualite and Liberal Jones collided soon after the start. Liberal Jones checked off Aqualite approaching the first turn. Downhill and Liberal Jones collided on the first turn and approaching the home turn. Sunday Driving checked off Liberal Jones in the home straight. Cruising Betty raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Green and reminded him of his responsibilities in regards to the use of mobile phones around the kennelling area (GAR 44).
