Steward's Report
Scooby Scooby Do and Fish Armo were quick to begin. Sharp Spur and Ruby's Rosa were slow to begin.
Sharp Spur and Ruby's Rosa collided approaching the first turn checking Sharp Spur. Scooby Scooby Do and Fish Armo collided approaching the first turn causing Scooby Scooby Do to check off Fish Armo. Proving Ground and Dare To Do collided approaching the first turn. Dare To Do, Fish Armo, Ruby's Rosa and Proving Ground collided on the first turn severely checking Fish Armo and Ruby's Rosa, Ruby's Rosa stumbled as a result. La Carpice galloped on Proving Ground on the first turn severely checking Proving Ground which stumbled. Santana checked off Sharp Spur on the first turn.
Ruby's Rosa was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left foot and a left calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Dare To Do, subsequently a post-race sample was taken.
