Dyna Winter was quick to begin. Pius Thicknesse was slow to begin. Kulu Cooper and Mimstar collided approaching the first turn, checking Mimstar. Dyna Vagrant and Schatzie Armo collided on the first turn, checking Dyna Vagrant. Kulu Cooper checked off Pius Thicknesse approaching the home turn. Bushman's Mate and Rhino Rex collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Pius Thicknesse and Schatzie Armo collided in the home straight, checking Schatzie Armo. Dyna Winter raced wide in the home straight.
Dyna Winter was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right deltoid, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
