A pre race sample was taken from Zipping Bomber.
Due Fratteli and Winlock Rose were quick to begin. Zipping Bomber, Jimmy Vella, Why Not Hugh and Raging Inferno were slow to begin. Avalon Sisco and Sooky Jooky collided on the first turn. Zipping Bomber, Jimmy Vella and Why Not Hugh collided on the first turn, checking Why Not Hugh. Zipping Bomber and Jimmy Vella collided approaching the home turn, checking Jimmy Vella. Jimmy Vella and Raging Inferno collided approaching the home turn. Avalon Sisco and Sooky Jooky collided approaching the home turn. Sooky Jooky raced wide in the home straight.
Sooky Jooky was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abraded paw pad on the left hind foot, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
