Stewards spoke to Mr Calum Blake, the kennel representative for the greyhound Macelon, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Macelon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left long head triceps (monkey) muscle, a ten-day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Macelon with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Blake pleaded guilty to the charge, Macelon was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zetella and Dyna Bella were slow to begin.

Oscar De Lonhro checked off Kalani Hagen on the first turn. Zetella and Like Lily collided on the first turn, in the back straight and again on the second turn. Zetella and Like Lily collided on the home turn, checking Like Lily and Rocking Doll. Like Lily and Rocking Doll collided entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Go Saints; a post-race sample was subsequently collected from the greyhound which was unplaced in the event.

Pyrenees Classic was slow to begin.

Dynamic Ross checked off the heels of Fawn Secrets soon after the start. Fawn Secrets and Major Style collided soon after the start, checking Fawn Secrets. Go Saints checked off Major Style approaching the first turn. Fawn Secrets checked off Go Saints on the first turn. Dynamic Ross checked off Go Saints on the first turn. Don's Bobcat checked off Flying Sam on the first turn. All Inn Roselee galloped on the heels of Don's Bobcat on the home turn, checking both greyhounds; All Inn Roselee raced wide as a result.

Villa Mandini was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind webbing. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.

Muzzle Welsh and Aeroplane Mo were quick to begin. Chatterbox Laura and Bluey Moran were slow to begin.

Half Day Harry and Hardaway Kate collided soon after the start, checking Hardaway Kate. Carlanna Casey, Hardaway Kate and Chatterbox Laura collided entering the back straight. Mahoney Miss checked off Muzzle Welsh in the back straight. Chatterbox Laura and Bluey Moran collided in the back straight. Carlanna Casey and Bluey Moran collided in the back straight. Mrs Janis Rinaldi, trainer of Destini Galaxy, declared a new weight of 31.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Destini Galaxy last raced at 32.3kg.

Stewards spoke to Ms T Salter regarding the direction that the greyhound Heza Gem be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Stewards spoke to Ms T Salter, the trainer of Heza Gem, regarding her failure to arrive at the kennels by the apponted time to prepare her greyhound for racing, pursuant to GAR46(2). Ms Salter was charged amd after pleading guilty to the charge was fined $100.

Keisha's Boy and Sudoku Buddah were slow to begin.

My Territory was a late scratching at 7.49AM due to an injury to the right front leg and lacerations to the upper chest (GAR 23). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr Paul Cusack, trainer of Unleash Bolly, declared a new weight of 28.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Unleash Bolly last raced at 30.4kg.

Stewards spoke to Mr Kevin Miller, the trainer of Little Mix, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Little Mix last raced on 10th November 2017. Mr Miller stated that  the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms Andrea Dailly, the trainer of Shima Bar, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Shima Bar last raced on 25th February 2017. Mrs Dailly stated that the greyhound had an extended spell. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Shima Bar trialled over 450m from box one, weight 35.6kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 25.24, the greyhound won by a margin of 5.5L. Shima Bar was cleared.

Flying Flyer last raced on 28 June 2017. Mrs Dailly stated that the greyhound had an extended spell. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Flying Flyer trialled over 450m from box three, weight 28.0kg,  the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 25.24, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.5L. Flying Flyer was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Punt Road Girl trialled over 450m from box six, weight 27.0kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 25.24, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 10L. Punt Road Girl was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Blackhawk Parker trialled over 390m from box one, weight 30.5kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.51, the greyhound won by a margin of 6.25L. Blackhawk Parker was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Kaelyn Bale trialled over 390m from box three, weight 27.4kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.51, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 12.25L. Kaelyn Bale  was cleared.

The time of the trial was 22.51, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.25L. My Rag Doll was cleared.
