Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms Tegan Gray, the trainer of Iceni Crusader, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Iceni Crusader last raced on 19 December 2017. Ms Gray stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an extended spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from Iceni Crusader.
This event was manually started.
Iceni Crusader were slow to begin. Al's Luck checked off Full Of Boloney soon after the start. Full Of Boloney, All Inn Youi and Winterstein collided approaching the first turn, checking Full Of Boloney and Winterstein. Pyrenees Petraca, Jacko Day and Serendipity Gold collided approaching the home turn, checking Pyrenees Petraca. Iceni Crusader raced wide on the home turn, checking Al's Luck.
Iceni Crusader was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
