Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Tye Me Over.
The boxes failed to open. All greyhounds were removed from the boxes, vetted and cleared to race. The boxes were tested and the race commenced approximately 2.5 minutes after the official start time.
Tashendo was quick to begin. Tye Me Over, St. Pauli and Direct Flight were slow to begin. Kintamani, Avatar Maximus and Tye Me Over collided approaching the first turn, checking Avatar Maximus. Tashendo checked off Brake Drum on the first turn and raced wide as a result. St Pauli and Avatar Maximus collided in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr Robert Martin, regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Tye Me Over. Stewards directed that Tye Me Over be boxed first in future events.
