Steward's Report
Crackerjack Nath, Slippery Sam and Dyna Jerry collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Slippery Sam. Slippery Sam galloped on the heels of Dyna Jerry on the first turn. Our Didda, My Mate Lenny and Loch Monster collided on the first turn checking Our Didda and My Mate Lenny.
Meeting Comments:
Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr G. Dailly who was also acting as a representative for Mrs A. Dailly after it was established several of their runners had been kennelled with barking muzzles, this meeting was deemed Heat Affected 16/3/18. Acting under GAR 86(o), Stewards charged Mr Dailly with negligently allowing the greyhounds in his care to be kennelled with barking muzzles, which is in breach of the GRV Hot Weather Policy. Mr Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge. When determining the penalty Stewards took into consideration Mr Dailly's co-operation and guilty plea. Mr Dailly was found guilty and a fine of $200 was issued.
Stewards spoke to Kennel Attendants, Mr T. Varichione, Mr J. Porter and Mr B. Jacuta regarding the above incident and referred them to the Club Manager.
