Pursuant to GAR 104(6), Ryan Johnson did not act in any official capacity for this event (scanning) and was replaced by Colleen Mason.
Gaviria and Mr. Delahoya collided soon after the start. Love Laughing, Oh So Sleek and Dave's Entity collided soon after the start. Dave's Entity, Love Laughing, Gaviria and Mr. Delahoya collided at the 300m mark. Gaviria and Dave's Entity collided at the 275m mark. Gaviria and Mr Delahoya collided approaching the 250m mark, checking Gaviria. Gaviria and Mr. Delahoya collided several times from the 200m mark until the 150m mark. Circus Oasis checked off Oh So Sleek approaching the 50m mark. Circus Oasis eased approaching the winning post.
A sample was taken from Dave's Entity - the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to P Dapiran, the trainer of the greyhound Circus Oasis regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Circus Oasis was vetted and re-vetted following race 6. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Circus Oasis with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). P Dapiran pleaded guilty to the charge, CIrcus Oasis was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
Dee Dee One was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
