Dat Dat Daty and Kid Ringo collided approaching the second turn, checking both greyhounds. Dat Dat Daty and Kid Ringo collided on the second turn, checking both greyhounds. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left pectoral (chest) and right shoulder muscles, also a right fore spike wound and lacerations to the left hind leg. A seven-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Debra Coleman, kennel representative for Dat Dat Daty and after considering the veterinary report, issued a warning regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the second turn and on the home turn.
