Pay Day Brian was quick to begin. Black Lad and Murrabit Benny were slow to begin. Heza Real Deal checked off Savannah Icon soon after the start checking Black Lad and causing Heza Real Deal to stumble and fall. Alabama Lane checked off Black Lad approaching the first turn. Pay Day Brian and San Remo Lass collided approaching the home turn. Savannah Icon and Krisbar Wee Wow collided in the home straight. San Remo Lass tired approaching the winning post.
Heza Real Deal was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left biceps brachii. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
