Sergeant Schultz and Savannah Ash collided soon after the start checking Sergeant Schultz. Sergeant Schultz contacted the running rail approaching and lost ground as a result. Savannah Ash and Stevie Gee collided approaching the first turn. Stevie Gee checked off Dynamic Deano on the first turn checking Savannah Ash and severely checking Stevie Gee.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Hill, the trainer of the greyhound Dynamic Deano and reminded him of his responsibilities in ensuring he obeys the directions of the starter, pursuant to GAR 51(5).
