A pre-race sample was taken from Alta Linea.
Sale Graze Bindi and Gaza's Rooster were slow to begin. Why Not Kylie, Alta Linea, Zoe The Pest, HighTenacity, Gaza's Rooster and Velocity Alaina collided soon after the start checking High Tenacity. High Tenacity raced wide on the first turn. Why Not Kylie crossed out approaching the second turn checking Why Not Kylie and Gaza's Rooster. High Tenacity and Why Not Kylie raced wide in the back straight. Sale Graze Bindi, Zoe The Pest, Alta Linea and Gaza's Rooster collided in the back straight checking Alta Linea. Alta Linea checked off Zoe The Pest entering the home straight checking Alta Linea causing Alta Linea to stumble.
Stewards spoke to Mr. David Knocker, the representative of Zizou De Kahn regarding the greyhounds impoved performance in the event. Mr. Knocker explained that the greyhound is racing at a more suitable weight and it is the second start for the kennel. Stewards noted Mr. Knocker’s explanation and ordered a sample be taken taken from the greyhound.
