Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms T Woman the trainer of Dyna Hinkley regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dyna Hinkley last raced on 9 November 2017. Ms Woman stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following injuries to both metacarpals.
A pre race sample was taken from Dyna Hinkley.
Pyrenees Petraca, Crooked Vulture and Destini Cheetah collided soon after the start, checking Pyrenees Petraca. Pyrenees Petraca contacted the running rail several times approaching the first turn. Crooked Vulture and Destini Cheetah collided on the first turn. Harsh Miles and Destini Comet collided approaching the home turn, checking Destini Comet.
Pyrenees Petraca was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
