The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Over The Horizon and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6.05pm due to weight variation(GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr M.Marshall was fined the sum of $100.
This event was delayed two minutes to enable the track to be cleared of vermin.
A pre race sample was taken from Lady Ceecee.
Deflection was slow to begin.
Hua Hin checked off Zipping Kelly approaching the first turn. Renew and Lady Ceecee collided on the first turn. Magic Will and Deflection collided on the first turn, checking Magic Will. Hua Hin and Deflection collided entering the back straight. Renew and Zipping Kelly collided on the home turn. Hua Hin checked off Deflection entering the home straight, causing Deflection to race wide as a result.
