Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. Thomas Curry, the trainer of Got The Boot regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Got The Boot last raced on 18 October 2017 and is returning to racing following a sprained left wrist.
Mr Brendan Moles, trainer of Lollipop declared a new weight of 23.5kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Lollipop last raced at 22.4kgs.
Lightfoot Lass, Speedway Chick, Bob's Cash and Lollipop collided soon after the start. Lightfoot Lass and Speedway Chick collided approaching the first turn. Bob's Cash and Lollipop collided approaching the first turn. Bob's Cash and Got The Boot collided on the first turn checking Speedway Chick and Lollipop and severely checking Got The Boot.
Got The Boot was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
