Barnie's Blaster, Bandit Brad and Aremac Igor were slow to begin. Gone Early, Walt's Star and Five Lights collided soon after the start. Aremac Igor was checked off Oz Ten Tatious approaching the first turn. Gone Early, Walt's Star and Five Lights collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Poison Pen crossed out and raced wide from the first turn to the home turn. Oz Ten Tatious and Aremac Igor collided approaching the winning post.
