Steward's Report
Chasin' Destiny was a late scratching at 8:26AM by order of stewards. Stewards noted the explination and a seven-day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Bevan Gray, the trainer of Miss Camelot, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Miss Camelot last raced on 18 September 2017. Mr Grey stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an extended spell. Mr Grey also declared a new weight of 26.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Miss Camelot last raced at 25.4kg.
Ms Delaine Vigor, representative of Padma Grange, declared a new weight of 24.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Padma Grange last raced at 25.6kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from Miss Camelot.
Papa Duncs and Arlecchino were quick to begin.
