It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tarsal sprain to the left hock, a ten-day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Fabulous Cash with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, Fabulous Cash was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT

Shepparton 18 February 2018

Stewards requested that greyhound Pingu should be vetted following its event at Shepparton, however the trainer failed to present the greyhound to the Club Veterinarian for examination. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms Mandy Shaw and directed that Pingu subsequently be presented at Ballarat for examination. It was reported by the Ballarat Club Veterinarian that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right gracilis (back) muscle and a 28-day stand down period was imposed.
