Banjo's Affair was slow to begin.

Bruree Boy and Dave's Entity collided soon after the start. La Caprice and Dave's Entiity collided at the 300m mark. Poppy Yaala and Articus collided at the 250m mark. Bruree Boy and Maniac Matilda collided at the 200m mark.

King Of Diamonds and Al's San Bow collided soon after the start. King Of Diamonds, Grey Grouse and Blue Knight collided at the 250m mark checking Grey Grouse. Blue Knight and Iona Misty collided at the 200m mark. King Of Diamonds checked off Blue Knight at the 150m mark. Lady Mikado and Weeona Ralph collided on the 50m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Mepunga Bonnie.

Gordyn Abbs, Nod Ya Head and My Lil' Angel collided soon after the start. Gordyn Abbs and Mister Blue collided at the 250m mark. Dorset Dasha, My Lil' Angel and Megunga Bonnie collided at the 250m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bill Heeny.

Brayden Lennox was slow to begin.

Bill Heeny, Cataleya and Don's Just Under collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark checking Bill Heeny. Bill Heeny and Cataleya collided on the 200m mark and again approaching the 150m mark.  Freak Unleashed checked off Don's Just Under at the 100m mark.

Bill Heeny was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Trainer, P Elston, regarding the manner in which Bill Heeny raced approaching the 150m mark.  Stewards took no action in this matter due to obstructed and insufficient video footage at that point of the race and gave the greyhound the benefit of any doubt.

Last Princess and Cosmic Breeze were slow to begin.

Osti's Sprite and Yogi Mikado collided several times from 300m mark to the 250m mark. Myrniong Cosmo and Last Princess collided at the 200m mark. Yogi Mikado and Mahlo Blackhawk collided at the 50m mark. Last Princess and Mahlo Blackhawk collided approaching the winning post. Blue Afro raced wide throughout the event.

A sample was taken from Jimmy's Angel,  winner of the event.

Superior Scotch, Invictus Lawless and She's Got Dash collided soon after the start. Prince Mikado and She's Got Dash collided at the 250 mark. Flawless Bling and Iona Regis collided at the 200m mark. Prince Mikado and She's Got Dash collided several times from the 50m mark to approaching the winning post.

A sample was taken from Superior Scotch,  winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr S Whyte, the trainer of Crocodile Senor regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Crocodile Senor last raced at Mandurah on 31 October, 2017.  Mr Whyte advised that the greyhound was returning to racing following a surgical procedure.   Mr Whyte also redeclared a new weight of 36.4 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Crocodile Senor last raced at a weight of 34.9 kgs.

A pre-race sample was taken from Grandis.

Grandis, Crocodile Senor and Weeona Paul were slow to begin. Flying Camo crossed to the inside soon after the start and collided with White Diamond, Weeona Paul, Crocodile Senor and Grandis. Grandis, Crocodile Senor, Weeona Paul and White Diamond collided at the 300m mark. Crocodile Senor checked off Grandis approaching the 250m mark. Weeona Paul and White Diamond collided approaching the 250m mark. Flying Camo checked off Bullocky Bill approaching the 50m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Rumble Drive.

Cullquin Bomber, Speedy Ryder and Blackjack's Back collided soon after the start. Speedy Ryder and Blackjack's Back collided at the 300m mark. Speedy Ryder checked off Blackjack's Back at the 250m mark. Rumble River and Cullquin Bomber collided several times from the 50m mark to the winning post.

A sample was taken from Jet Blaster, winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr G Harding (representing Trainer - Mr P Clark) regarding the length of time Tat Barbie has had between races.  Tat Barbie last raced at Shepparton on 24 August, 2017.  Mr Harding advised that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left hip injury.

Ziggy Punter and Tat Barbie were slow to begin.

Mon Mekki Kahn and Yaala crossed to the rail soon after the start. Yaala checked off Mon Mekki Kahn approaching the 250m mark. Ziggy Punter and Tat Barbie collided approaching the 200m mark. Ziggy punter faltered approaching the winning post.

Ziggy Punter was vetted and re-vetted following event 11. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an inury to the right monkey muscle. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Unique Olivia.

Allouette Jack was quick to begin.

Supa Shalala checked off Fear Valley at the 250m mark. Weeona Pearl and Unique Olivia collided at the 250m mark. Fear Valley eased at the 50m mark. Fear Valley and Weeona Pearl collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Paez, the trainer of the greyhound Fear Valley regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post . Fear Valley was vetted and re-vetted following event 11. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Fear Valley with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Paez pleaded not guilty to the charge, Fear Valley was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Kid Carl was slow to begin.

My Mate Wally and Rose Of Dyanna collided at the 150m mark. My Mate Wally and Go Levi collided several times from the 100m mark to approaching the winning post checking My Mate Wally.

Showtime Sally, Destini Supreme and Turfman collided soon after the start. Fitz Tate, Destini Supreme and Turfman collided at the 250m mark. Boston You Essay and What Stopping Ya collided at the 150m mark.

Meeting Comments:-

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Walker, the trainer of Pocket Dial regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Pocket Dial last raced on 17th May 2017. Mr. Walker stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from broken toes. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Pocket Dial trialled over the 300m from box 8, weight 32.2 kg, the greyhound was placed 3 in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 16.87, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.5 L. Pocket Dial was cleared.
