Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Levushka upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Stewards intended to obtain a pre-race sample from Annasay however due to an administrative error the sample was not taken.
I'm Tipping Don and Phoenix Fernando collided soon after the start. Phoenix Fernando and Giant Jarvis collided soon after the start. Dewana Chat, I'm Tipping Don, Phoenix Fernando and Giant Jarvis collided approaching the first turn, checking Phoenix Fernando. Levushka checked off Yongning on the first turn, checking Dewana Chat, Giant Jarvis, and I'm Tipping Don which raced wide as a result. Giant Jarvis checked off Phoenix Fernando on the second turn. Levushka checked off Dewana Chat entering the back straight.
Supplementary Report
Ms Barbara Breen was fined the sum of $50 for failing to produce the weight card for her runners at today's meeting, pursuant to GAR 33.
Exhibition trial - Quick Jagger trialled over the 525 metres from box one, weighing 32.9kg. The time of the trial was 29.90.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Oshkosh Expert trialled over the 525m from box one, weight 34.0kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of five. The time of the trial was 30.25, the greyhound won by a margin of 21.25L. Oshkosh Expert was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Dynastic Ruler trialled over the 525m from box eight, weight 31.3kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of five. The time of the trial was 30.25, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 21.25L. Dynastic Ruler was not cleared. Dynastic Ruler was vetted following the trial. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left long head triceps (monkey) and right pectoral (chest) muscles, and a spike wound to the left hind foot (3rd digit) and a 14-day stand down period was imposed.
