Charlie Cockatoo was a late scratching at 10.20pm due to injury (GAR 23). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Oscar De Lonhro and Persian Oasis collided soon after the start. Limburg Will and Mini Fernando collided soon after the start. Oscar De Lonhro checked off Limburg Will approaching the first turn. Galloping Flash, Mini Fernando and Limburg Will collided on the first turn, checking Galloping Flash and Limburg Will, and severely checking Oscar De Lonhro, and Mini Fernando which fell as a result.

Oscar De Lonhro was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right pectoral (chest) and left shoulder (suprapinatus) muscles. A five-day stand down period was imposed.

Limburg Will was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

Mini Fernando was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right sartorius (pencil) and gracilis (back) muscles. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
