Stewards spoke to Mr T. Currie, the trainer of Rose Of Dyanna regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Rose Of Dyanna last raced on 8 October 2017. Mr Currie stated that the greyhound was returning from a seasonal spell.

Rose Of Dyanna was slow to begin.
Mini Tron checked off Gordyn Abbs collided approaching the first turn causing Mini Tron and Rose Of Dyanna to collide. Slippery Parker and Aruma Girl collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Slippery Parker and Ima Reality collided entering the home straight. Slippery Parker checked off Ima Reality in the home straight. Gordyn Abbs checked off Slippery Parker in the home straight. Slippery Parker, Gordyn Abbs and Mini Tron collided approaching the winning post.
