Steward's Report

A pre-race sample was taken from Zizou De Kahn.

Seminole Wind, King Of Ring and Alta Linea were slow to begin.

Seminole Wind and King Of Ring collided approaching the first turn.  King Of Ring and Alta Linea collided on the first turn.  Zoe The Pest and Seminole Wind collided approaching the second turn checking Zoe The Pest, Alta Linea and severely checking Seminole Wind and King Of Ring.  Champagne Chaser lost ground from the third turn.

Seminole Wind was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

King Of Ring was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Champagne Chaser was vetted and re-vetted following event 9.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Clarke, the trainer of the greyhound Champagne Chaser.  Stewards deemed the performance of Champagne Chaser unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Champagne Chaser must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
